Castle Bromwich Theatre Group is a community based theatre group providing entertainment to Castle Bromwich since 1958. Our group is made up of passionate performers who strive to bring joy and laughter to our audiences. We believe in the power of theatre to bring people together and create a sense of community. Our group has a long and rich history, and we are proud to have been a part of Castle Bromwich for over 60 years. We have performed a wide variety of productions over the years, from classic plays to pantomime. Our talented performers and crew work tirelessly to bring our productions to life and ensure that every show is a success. We are always looking for new members to join our group, whether you are an experienced performer or a beginner. We welcome anyone who shares our passion for theatre and community. Committee
We run CBTG on behalf of the members
The committee is elected annually and runs the groups operations on behalf of the membership. Like all our members, the committee is made up of unpaid volunteers who sacrifice their free time to help keep the group moving forward. Any member can be elected to the committee at our annual general meeting usually held in May, and we encourage all members to participate.
The committee makes important decisions about the group, such as membership and ticket prices and which script we will perform for the upcoming season.
The committee is lead by our group president and former Castle Bromwich councilor, Ted Richards.
